Cascade Christian Schools is an independent, inter-denominational, college preparatory school system that provides academic, social, physical and spiritual instruction based on excellence and a biblical world and life view. Cascade Christian Schools is a thriving school district serving over 1,640 students. With five campuses in Puyallup, Spanaway and Tacoma, Cascade Christian Schools is presently comprised of three early childhood centers with child care and preschool programs, three elementary schools (K-6), a junior high school (7-8), and a senior high school (9-12).
Cascade’s mission and purpose is “To glorify God by providing quality, Christ-centered education dedicated to developing discerning students who are spiritually, personally and academically prepared to impact their world.” Cascade Christian Schools offer a challenging, disciplined learning environment for students in preschool through grade 12, and admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.

Chief Leschi Schools of the Puyallup Tribe constitutes the largest Native American school in Washington State and leads the nation in Native American education and achievement. Opened in the fall of 1996, Chief Leschi Schools operates a state-of-the-art facility with the latest in educational technology. Chief Leschi Schools are tribally controlled, federally and state funded schools serving primarily Native American students and families from preschool through high school. Through the Family and Child Education Program and the Puyallups Against Violence Program, Chief Leschi Schools also provide adult literacy, GED preparation, and an after-school program for out-of-school youth.
Chief Leschi Schools draw approximately 1,000 Native American students representing 50 different tribes from all over south Puget Sound. It is the mission of Chief Leschi Schools to provide a quality and culturally relevant education in a safe, clean, drug-free environment.
Chief Leschi Schools emphasizes applied learning strategies. The Chief Leschi staff works hard to connect classroom learning to real life situations in the community.

Each year, 18,000 students enroll in continuing education classes in such areas as job-skill development, home and family education, general interest and adult basic education. 3,500 students are enrolled in training programs.
Clover Park Technical College's South Hill campus has the right degree program for you! Students interested in learning how to fly can get their pilot's license through the Professional Pilot's degree program. Students who enjoy repairing airplanes can get their Aviation Maintenance Technician degree program. Both degree programs are part of CPTC's Associate in Applied Science-Transfer Degrees (AAS-T). Located on Puyallup’s South Hill, Pierce College of Puyallup offers two-year programs leading to Associate in Arts and Sciences degrees, and to more than 30 Associates in Technology degrees in a variety of occupational subjects. Other courses culminate in a one-year certificate or are supplemental for the upgrading or continuation of job skills. Non-credit, personal interest classes and workshops are also offered. Continuing education and community service classes are offered at several sites throughout the area.

The Puyallup School District is the 10th largest district in Washington State, covering nearly 55 square miles and serving a population of nearly 150,000 residents. Puyallup schools serve more than 20,000 students in 21 elementary schools, six junior high schools, three comprehensive high schools, and the Walker campus, which offers program options for students in grades six through 12. The District employs approximately 2,408 personnel.
The Puyallup School District is committed to an outstanding instructional program to fulfill the changing needs of the students. The University of Washington, Tacoma was created to serve Eastern Pierce County and the South Puget Sound region with high-quality educational programs for a range of students, including place-bound adults returning to complete their education, professionals working to enhance their careers, and traditional-age students transferring from community colleges.
UWT offers the junior and senior years of bachelor’s degrees (many students transfer from Pierce College of Puyallup) and master’s degree programs. Academic programs include Business Administration, Computing and Software Systems, an Interdisciplinary Arts and Science program that meets a wide range of educational and career needs, and professional programs in Nursing, Social Work and Education.
