A l ook at the development of the Marriott Courtyard Tacoma and how this development changes children’s lives in Romania and India.

A graduate of Western Washington University, Chuck has worked with Hollander Investments of Bellingham WA for the past 23 years. He has been involved in everything from design, construction and operation of the Hollander’s five hotels in Washington and Oregon.  The most recent project for the Hollander family was the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Tacoma, which he took from conception to opening and the first six months of operations. This past year along with operating hotels, Chuck has taken on a new challenge of working with Kidstown International a foundation of which Mike Hollander is the founder. Kidstown International supports and cares for orphans in Romania and India. He serves on the board of directors for the Tacoma Regional Convention and Visitor Bureau and is current President of the Pierce County Lodging Association. A 14 year resident of Puyallup, Chuck has served on numerous boards and church leadership roles over those years and continues to find ways to support the Pierce County community. He is married and has two boys 15 and 17.
